The shipping time from Japan to Mombasa typically takes 18–30 days.

Import taxes include 15% duty, 17% VAT, 2% commission, 4% withholding tax, and 10% excise duty (if applicable).

Road Worthiness Inspection in Uganda: A compulsory Road Worthiness Inspection (RWI) is conducted by EAA, appointed by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) upon arrival.

Uganda allows import of vehicles up to 15 years old from the date of manufacture.
